Today we offer two new perspectives on the need to accelerate the shift to digital payments from the recent Better Than Cash launch event in New York City from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Ford Foundation.

Helen Clark serves as both Administrator of the UNDP and the chair of the United Nations Development Group (UNDG). Prior to her appointment with UNDP, Helen Clark served three successive terms (1999 – 2008) as Prime Minister of New Zealand, where she engaged widely in policy development and advocacy across the international, economic, social and cultural spheres.
